Wanted - Volunteer Litter Pickers

We are hoping to get a litter group together, to either litter pick their own road or to choose a space within the community. Also, we may ask groups to litter pick particular areas now and again.  We have our own guidelines for litter picking and can provide litter picking tools, gloves, bags, and Hi Viz waistcoats. New waste and recycling collection calendars have been delivered by May Gurney from w/c Monday 12 March over a three week period. All the calendars are available online, on the NSC search facility www.n-somerset.gov.uk/calendar

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL WASTE & RECYCLING IS AT THE KERBSIDE BY 7am ON THE DAY OF COLLECTION

Part Night Street Lighting – next phase.

Phase 3 of the NSC part night lighting scheme is due to start March 2012 with completion expected by December 2012. The roads that will be affected in our area are listed below.
