Local Police Priorities (LPP)    ?

1. Theft from motor vehicles.
2. Burglaries.
3. There has been a sudden rise in anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in the village since the beginning of May. Those mostly affected are residents and properties in the Belmont Road area and a small group of youths has been seen in the area at about 11pm.

As most of you are aware the criminal damage figures are high this month due to the two week spate of minor damage to houses and gardens in Belmont Road, Sidcot Lane, The Chestnuts and Oakridge. We were again impressed how the community came together, not only to talk to us but to support each other.

We have been passed a lot of information about these crimes and have a fairly good idea what happened and who was part of it. As this is still under investigation we cannot tell you more. We would like to thank the community for all the information we have received.

This month quite a few parking warnings have been given especially pavement parking warning. Pc Church has also been dealing with the speeders through the village. Alot of our time has been spent in investigating the spate of criminal damage and being visible in the village especially in the evenings along with alot of other officers to deter anymore damage to properties.

Please have a look at the current Policing Priorities and suggest any changes to the Parish Council who can adapt them and advise us of the priorities agreed for next month.
