Winscombe & Sandford Award Land Committee

Report for June 2006

Since the last Parish Council meeting, very little has happened.

On the 20th of May we had a dead elm tree come down across the uplands footpath and I dealt with it.

Joe Cornish reported he had seen Mr. Ballard and another man

go and inspect the trees that was cut down on the uplands path,

He also said he will provide pallets to store the award land forge artifact that is to be stored in the cemetery store.

I am concerned that I have not been able to contact Vince Russettt regarding the Award land boundary as it seems the Ski

slope company is seeking planning permission for part of the award land and seems to be claiming part of it.

I would like to suggest that we make an appointment to meet

Vince Russettt.                             -                                        .

I have not been able to contact John Flannigan about the Ilex

trees.

I note that the warning signs on the SWEB poles on the Award

land are in Welsh and English.
